Stars in the Deep Ocean 

The darker the night, the brighter the stars, like a symbiosis, more like a dependence.

As he opened his eyes, a blinding light radiated around him. He squinted his eyes and tried to adjust to the light.

As he moved his body, he found an additional resistance around him that was not normal. As a universe traveler, this feeling is not that unfamiliar to him. Familiar and a bit… weird, he moved his palms in front of him.

Fingertips with a little air bubbles, small and fleeting.

He tries to open his mouth to make a sound, but can only spit out a lot of bubbles. He watched the round bubble float upward until it disappeared at the edge of the light, then he withdrew his eyes.

This is how it should be in the deep sea.

He let his body slowly sink down, buoyancy seemed to avoid his body. From where he could see, there were unidentified spheres floating around, and he merely saw them.

But he heard it. Like a crisp silver bell, more like a reverberating whisper. At the moment he touched the object, the sound died instantly, the light from his fingertips slowly spread, without haste, the sphere in front of him emitted a faint light.

He could not refuse.

The sea was cold, but every time he opened his eyes, he found himself surrounded by a faint glow, like the whispers that reminded him all the time that people who love him had become a faint light around him. Embrace him in their arms, when he does not want to glow, they glow for him.
